HAIR PERCEPTION & DESIGNS
ABOUT US
HP&D 2019
how our story began...
Hair Perception & Designs was founded by husband and wife hairdressers Dan & Helene Reed back in 1991. It was always a dream of theirs to open a salon filled with other like minded stylist that felt the need to harvest their talents and run their business independently in a station rental setting.
Since then Dan & Helene opened their doors to a variety of different stylists allowing them to successfully run their businesses to their full potential. Sadly years later Dan fell ill and lost his battle to cancer in 2009 and with his passing Helene continues to keep their dream alive and keep the doors open for many hairstylists to continue to grow their businesses and thrive.
Today HP&D is happy to announce that we are at our new location and have opened our doors for stylists and their clients to enjoy the new fresh updated feel of a luxury salon.
" This industry is constantly evolving and I'm happy to have the opportunity to rebuild and have my salon evolve so that I can continue to offer a safe adequate space for other stylists and their clients to enjoy from now to generations to come! "

so how does a Rental salon work?...
Unlike a commissioned stylist salon we don't have employees we have independent stylists who run their business and rent an area in the salon for them to be able to accommodate their business needs.
The stylist set their own hours and prices, manage their own clients, schedule and retail sales. The best way to book an appointment is to get ahold of an individual stylist directly and ask for info on their prices and services.
The owner of the salon does not affiliate or get involved in how stylists run their business with their clients. The salon owner simply rents an area of the salon to licensed cosmetologists and makes sure the building is in clean, safe, working order.

Our hours of operation vary and work around the times and days each stylist decides to set their hours and appointments. Sundays we are are usually closed for maintenance and cleaning.
